So he may very well have the choice if they clear him not only for this with a full recovery but also it would require a full comprehensive evaluation of all body systems to be certain there was no underlying condition that contributed to this happening (imo think that’s likely that they’ll find nothing in terms of pre-existing conditions).

All that said I hope someone gets in his ear and says let’s call it a career, and tell him he’s already achieved way more than most in sport (and life for that matter), but let’s face it these elite athletes are so motivated to get where they are that if they do clear him he may feel the need to overcome and get beyond this 100% by getting back on the field for that symbolic victory.

I know myself I’d be running for the hills into retirement and am so glad I didn’t know this type thing was even possible back in the day when I played because I may not have even played at all and stuck to tiddlywinks!
