The NFL wants to honor health care workers by inviting some to Super Bowl LV. On a Wednesday call with media, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell plans to invite vaccinated individuals from Florida area hospitals.

I'm familiar enough with the NFL (and cynical about Goodell) to immediately feel as this is more PR stunt than goodwill.

Oh I don't disagree at all, but regardless of whether it's a PR stunt or goodwill, health care workers still (may) get to attend the Super Bowl which they deserve.

I'm gonna get my wife vaccinated and send her down there. I don't care if she resists the vaccination and sitting through an entire game. The opportunity is too perfect. The Bills will be there this year. She is gonna learn to love football and support her hometown team. And I'm gonna live vicariously through her. Time to raise your sleeve, honey
