Yep I don't know the specifics but I think it had to do with the agreement when NBC could start flexing games for SNF.

Jets are an AFC team and CBS has the Chargers-Giants game.

So the NFL has to either move the game to 4:05 for it to be on CBS or move it to Fox so both games can be broadcasted at 1:05.

The NFL moved Cleveland-NY Jets to FOX and gave Seattle-LA Rams to CBS.

This happens about once a year when the Giants are on CBS the same time as the Bills.

People in Connecticut get the same problem when the Patriots play on FOX and the Giants do as well.
