And because its always brought up,  the McDonald's All-American argument is one of the most tired in sports.  Did I miss the memo that Syracuse has decided to make a moral statement by refusing to recruit A-A high schoolers?  I didn't think so.  Now, assuming that these guys are somehow instantly better college players than their unheralded counterparts (and of course, they aren't), the drawback is that they also might be more inclined to leave early for the draft.  Some might say that consistently reloading with new players and consistently competing for spots deep in the tournament (while maintaining a pretty high academic standard) is a pretty impressive accomplishment.  I'm sure nobody here would draw that conclusion, but I'll do it for you.
