OT - online poker?

Was having a conversation with friends about the WSOP and online poker came up. Are there still sites that people can play poker on for real money? I thought that after the Full Tilt debacle that it really put an end to US sites.

Can you still play from your home online legally? If so, which site?

There are sites but traffic is really low and there's a big hassle to even get money on there and who knows how hard it would be to get it off.

I played on full tilt for a couple years, but I never played for money, but thinking about it I wonder what they did about their free roll tourney, where you didn't have to start with any money you could win or finish high enough and get money deposited for you...I had a blast playing there.

I'd be surprised if there any sites left for playing for money, I'd imagine the FBI are on top if that.

I used to play Full Tilt for play money is high school. Got up to like 50,000,000 play chips (starting with 1,000). People would actually send me real money for some of my play chips. I'd then send it to my friend who had a real money account (and legal gambling age) and he'd pay me in school the next day.

Yes, people actual would give me REAL money for FAKE play chips.

Some states are starting to make it legal. I believe you can play if you live in Nevada. I know New Jersey was looking into it. Incredibly stupid that you can gamble on horse racing but not poker.

There are, you don't get paid, or get paid 6 months later.

I used to play FT and PS as an income source before it went down. Everything out there is garbage right now. I don't even bother playing. At least I have my full tilt money coming back, only took 2 years.

I agree, I've heard of guys not getting paid ever (checks in the mail...).

Rocco, if you are going to put good amount of money down i would think about going elsewhere.

I've never had a problem getting money, and I cashed out a good 1,200 dollars from them before.

New Jersey starts in about 3 weeks actually.

i bought into this a few years ago for the super bowl and my card got banged for a few thousand worth of fraud purchases a few days later

stay very far away from any gambling and poker sites right now

the traffic to the sites (via alexa.com) is really low yet they show a lot of activity which means its all bots to steal your money
