any northern oswego countians on the board? Raised in pulaski, grew up in St Louis, wonderful childhood, talk to sherry at MR. SUBS every once in awhile, colosse cheese, Salmon river falls etc etc, man I really miss upstate N.Y.

I'm from Sandy Creek but haven't lived there since 1974. I lived in Syracuse, Ithaca, Marathon, and "Lower" Cincinnatus before living in Virginia for 30 years. I'm a bit of a wanderer now. This year I'm planning on several months in CNY, a month in Virginia, and several months in Colorado. I'm hoping to arrange my schedule so I'm in upstate NY during football season. CNY is outstandingly beautiful but don't like winter so much any more. Winter in Colorado, springtime in Virginia, golf & football season in NY, then probably back to Colorado for a while. "The road goes ever on"...

Don't know how to do the pm thing so I graduated in 74, you must know baggie, deerslayer and dougan, jonesy. My mom had a restuarant just across the tracks into lacona. such a wonderful place to grow up and most in the u.s.a think it's just one big city

My mother in law has a cottage in Henderson, sawyers bay, used to lunch alot at Sacketts Harbor.

I live in Los Angeles now and, whenever I go back, I get in my head for about a week that I want to move back.

Then I see the snow on my family's facebook feed as I'm in 80 degree weather and decide, nah, I'm good.

I do miss it a lot though. Might look into buying a camp or something in Oswego on the lake just to be able to go back.
