Nick Monroe, an established recruiter with a boatload of ties to the Sunshine State, is the Syracuse staff member who continues to provide Boyd with a home-like feel.
"I have a really good relationship with (secondary) coach (Nick) Monroe," Boyd said. "He keeps in contact with me and makes me feel like family. His message has been hopefully I'm playing in that orange and blue, and to compete in every class."
Armed with additional offers from the likes of Illinois, Temple and Southern Miss, the 6-foot-6, 300-pound Boyd says he has no visits scheduled at this time.
