Going to have to watch..supposed to rollout in 15 select markets and then eventually go nationwide. It'll be interesting how this local content plays out. As you travel do you get new local content depending your Wi-Fi location or where your home of record is?

I can't see Big Box Cable liking this...

In my professional life, met with Vidgo a year ago.

I don't think they are capitalized well enough to live up to the promise.

I agree Donnie...I signed up for more press releases through their website...we'll see. If they deliver on their promises though it will be a game changer.

If it delivers as promised: It should deliver via the Internet local channels, sports channels and some other common channels found on cable.

The downside (like Sling TV) you might only to get watch it on one device at a time.

so how do they get around the redistribution issues of locals that took down the last company that tried this? i expect they would have to pay a feem and then you are not allowed to send locals outside the local area, which is the whole downside to even what dish/directv have now.

I found that scheduled programs did not appear at appear at the designated times. Weird, I know, but that was my experience on a couple of occasions.
