OT: Still Trying To Comprehend

I was at the Wright State vs. Milwaukee Horizon League quarterfinal game tonight. Wright State was up, at home, by 24 with 6:26 to go... & lost in OT (after being up 4 in OT too)!
It was genuinely one of the most stunning basketball experiences I’ve ever had... I was floored. Imagine being up 24 with 6 minutes, thinking you’re going to Indy for the rest of the Horizon League tourney, followed by the potential to get into the NCAA Tournament, to having your season be over.
I feel terrible for the Wright State players & coaches, it was absolutely wild

If they took a 30 second shot clock violation every possession the rest of the game from that point on, they win.

Milwaukee had a 0.0% post game win probability haha

I threw it on my laptop with a couple of minutes left that was one of the best comebacks I’ve ever seen especially when I thought it was dead when the point guard went 1-3 from the line at the end of regulation

Literally checking this out on ESPN plus because I couldn’t believe it but what’s more surprising is that you were there! I don’t see any seats,stands or fans! Though the camera angles are not showing it. I take it you live in the area

Friends & Family,

Nobody non-essential is allowed in the general seating areas or really the main area of the gym at all. There are boxes & alcoves that are pretty well isolated & protected with glass. Certainly & different game watching experience, but it was great to get out in person.

Truly unbelievable. If SU did that, I'd never recover.
