Who would have ever thought that 2 SUNY schools would make the tournament? Odd that Stony Brook, Buffalo aren't even in the same conference.

I think you mean Stony Brook instead of Albany, but yes, they aren't in the same conference with Buffalo. Buffalo has the better D-1 athletic program than the Albany's and Stony Brook's and if Syracuse ever takes a step backwards, I could definitely see Buffalo becoming stronger. Especially if the economy gets better and we get a governor that wants to pump money into UB's athletic budget to raise it's level to a high major state university school (Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers, Yukon). It seems far fetched, and I am not talking about the next couple years, but if someone said that in 30 years that Buffalo had a better program than Syracuse I could believe it. Private school vs State school.
