Yes sounds Crazy but it makes the ACC stronger Vandy+ND, it makes the SEC stronger, Texas+Removing weaker team(+OK/OKST?). Makes both Conference' Television reach more balanced with better overall reach.

If you haven't noticed the ACC and SEC have a nice balance right now in several states where each conference has at least one team and these two teams play each other annually which is very important for TV households. The list: FLA/FLAST/MIA, SC/CLEM, GA/GT, KENT/L'ville, Swapping out Vandy makes sense for Vandy, the ACC, and SEC and Vandy can keep playing TENN annually.

Vandy -> ACC
Academics = Fit
Basketball = Fit
Football = Fit
(Occasionally good and likely better considering them not getting blistered every week by SEC teams with lower academic standards)

Texas (+2 Traditional B12 powers?)
Academics = Fit

If the pot is sweet enough though I think Vandy shifting over to make space for the Red river 3 could work. It's like a three team trade in baseball except the Big XII gets dissolved and the rest of their teams get split between the PAC/Big10.

I'd trade NC state for Ole Miss or TAMU (both academically ranked above Louisville, NCstate is between them) or something like that to further spread the tv coverage and crossover but I doubt that would happen.
