The CFB won't expand and give them free content. When the ESPN contract ends I am sure the CFB committee will solicit bids for what TV stations would pay for a 4 team playoff and 8 team playoff. Expansion is not on horizon for the CFB. Notre Dame is signed with NBC Sports thru 2025. NBC is not going to give up its ND rights and the ACC would need those rights for ND to help the ACCN.
