The end result is that she had two different stage 1 cancers. If they had been seen as one cancerous event, it would have been considered stage 3. She may still have radiation and/or chemo, but I think this is really good news, if anything about cancer can be considered good. I may know more on Friday as she gets her staples removed and meets with her doctor to discuss the next steps.
