OT--Tracy McGrady elected to HOF

I always liked McGrady -- tremendous athlete / tons of versatility / dynamic scorer.

I always figured he'd have an uphill battle to make the HOF despite several seasons of brilliance due to his star burning for such a relatively short period of time.

Good for him, but still a little surprised.

Yeah he's a tough case. One of the best peaks ever (ever!) but not a ton of longevity.

Yeah, agreed. Though ultimately if I can look through the hall of fame list and find plenty of guys from his era that I know McGrady was a better player than, I've got no problem with it. And I can do that. Richmond, Miller, Ming, Mourning, Mutumbo...McGrady was better than guys like that.
