None of the donations they were talking about were related to sports, but, still, the amount of money being talked about was ridiculous. Duke responded they would gladly accept his donation and use it as they saw fit, but if the donor insisted on directing where it was to go, they wouldn't be needing it.  Another story was about Min Kao (one of the co-founders of Garmin), and how he donated $17.5 million to the University of Tennessee $12.5 million going for a new electrical engineering building and the rest for professorship endowments.
