Looked like the ref asked the Costa Rican players around the 55th minute if they wanted to continue and it appeared they agreed to.

conditions were bad but playing in wet snow looks worse than it is.. the ball takes some skips and can slow a bit but you can still play in it. we won a playoff game in high school in a blizzard and it was the most fun game i ever played in. It ended 3-2 and was a well played game even in those conditions. let them complain i don't see it being overturned.

If you want to read an awkward interview, this week's ESPN the Mag has one with Bruce Arena where they talk about Landon, Klinsmann, the USMNT, etc. Arena comes off as a grouchy whiner in his answers. Gotta give him credit for not giving stock, sunny side up answers I guess.
