OT: UVA/Clemson...

Held the #18 Tigers to 36 pts. We were in that game in C-Ville. I definitely feel a bit better about our chances to finish the season and give ourselves a shot at the tourney. Perhaps we steal a marquee win somewhere? Avoid any more bad losses? Would love to get back the St. Bonnie, ND, and Wake games though.

There's some crazy variance with Clemson on Bracketmatrix. One person has them as a 2, another a 9. The consensus is a 3 seed right now.

Remember that Grantham tore his ACL for the Tigers...this was their first game without him. They still have some talent, but if they start a massive slide now without him it'll be hard for them to earn an at-large. He was their best player.

Last year UVA's Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome were limited in minutes on the court because they were poor on defense. Could shoot the lights out but many times gave up more points at the other end. Fast-forward to this year and both play outstanding defense. I guess Tony Bennett must be a pretty good coach.
