My memory is that the Otto image Rag's kid just re-did was initially designed because we wanted to do a shirt and needed a logo to make it clearly identifiable as something from our board. We thought it would be funny and fitting to make Otto an angry drunk. Kind of like many of the people on the board. Props to Tom from the Boneyard for drawing it out.
