At the college that I work at all employees have to be vaccinated. It’s pretty common in academic environments right now.

Not going down the rabbit hole just saying look at how some react to the news when someone is fired for not complying with a new mandate. Change the mandate to something else (religion, gender, anything) and see if you're ok with someone being fired for it. Maybe it would be something you're not willing to compromise on.
