They have a special section in the end zone behind the goal posts for young SU alumni (classes '16-'20). It costs $100 and is located next to the existing student section. I think this is a great idea and it tells me SU is listening.

IMHO it would be nice to extend that to all young alumni in the same year groups. Just snap a picture of your diploma from a 4 year University and submit for proof. A whole lot of SU die hards graduated from places like: Oswego, Cortland, Geneseo, LeMoyne, St John Fisher, Utica, Clarkson, etc...

To recent SU alumni: would that piss you off or it doesn't matter?

talked to my fiancée who is a recent double alum of Syracuse and she says “I wouldn’t care, just want them to sell tickets and fill the dome.”

...this applies to UB ‘16 alum too?

Only applies to SU Alumni. I'd love it if they would extend it to all recent college graduates.
My fault, I misread your OP. It’s ok the UB grads will throw a few extra sheckles to enjoy Dino ;)

I don't qualify by many graduating classes, but I like the concept. :p

Alum, don’t care, fill the dome

I agree, would think there's a decent amount of SU fans at nearby schools that couldn't afford SU tuition
Think that’s a great idea as well. Could also build friendships and networking among younger alums / fans. They should extend to other young local alums. Just cap how many tickets you can buy or make it singles. Could be a great atmosphere.

I think SU should open up to any recent college graduate wants to purchase an SU football season ticket.

They've been targeting recent alumni for other initiatives for some time now. As a '10 grad, you do get a little jealous by it. Why wasn't the athletic department this forward thinking? For $100, it's a no brainer. Can easily eat the cost of all games whether SU is good or bad. Bought STs last year and don't plan on renewing this year.
