Have you been there before? They couldn’t pay me enough to go to Tallahassee, let alone watch a game there
Aside from the score, I really enjoyed the game I went to there. They couldn’t pay me enough to go to Tallahassee, let alone watch a game there
I did also. Been there for 2 SU games, and a third game years earlier which I think was N.C. Good place to see a game. Fans were friendly. A close friend used to have season tickets. He was a very dedicated FSU fan. He's given up his tickets and barely watches games now. Their fans used to be more dedicated than they are now. Maybe that's happening in many places.Aside from the score, I really enjoyed the game I went to there.
I think it partly depends on when/why you became a fan. If it was during the glory years, sometimes the fandom wanes during a down period. It was easy for FSU fans to be spoiled during an almost 30 year elite era.I did also. Been there for 2 SU games, and a third game years earlier which I think was N.C. Good place to see a game. Yeah, panhandle is not my cup of teaHave you been there before?
I like the Tallahassee/south Georgia area. Orlando is insanely flat so it's nice to see some variation in terrain.Yeah, panhandle is not my cup of tea
VT is close to a sell out, parents weekend. I haven't checked Duke, because Duke.Obviously our game isn’t moving ticket sales so that’s a fan issue, not an SU issue. Can’t imagine VT and Duke are either, however
And the bs late hit.Remember the holding call that they forgot to call the last time the team went there? Still bothers me.
It’s funny how sometimes your experience can differ. My daughter and her friend were with me and we all had negative vibes. I will say you had a mediocre at best FSU vs a poor SU when I was there . I’m sure a big name opponent against a strong FSU and the atmosphere would be completely different. A half filled Doak watching a blowout was what I saw that day. We stayed in Orlando and went to Universal the day before and that was fun. Drove up Saturday morning. My group tix are on the 40 yard line. They cost $30...however if I sell 13 more tickets (to 50) our group rate drops to $25.
Tallahassee on gameday is good but it is super expensive to stay in town. I recommend most to stay at least 30 miles out of town to save $100s of dollars.
