Have as many attendees as the BC spring game. Approx. 200.

Lol.

bc's spring game has as many attendees as the acc championship game

Hey our spring game doesnt draw in a huge crowd either although it does considerably better than that.

Wait a second. I thought ACC membership was the springboard to all things wonderful. It sounds like BC's program has regressed from its Big East days. Where's the buzz?

bc needs us and pitt very badly.

all 3 of us in the ACC is very good, that old 'Atlantic Coast Conf' needed some Yankee influence.

What is your guess as to what the attendance will be at ours?

I'm going with 5-10k due to the Lax game.

Nice. How does that jive with past years? Do you have a guess as to how much the Lax games boost the attendance?

Yep, we're all essentially the same fanbase. Sure, there are some clear differences (we'll have at least 4,000 more people at our Spring Game you would think), but compared to the program's with passionate fan bases, that difference is just a blip on the 'you don't care nearly as much as us' radar.

The new ACC rules. The new Big East and the new new Big East blows goats.

didnt know they put a lax game there again, thats smart.

one would think that with practices being closed the demand to see action would be extremely high too. lets see how the cny response is.

BC will benefit from Syracuse and Pitt being in the ACC.

Are you seriously comparing the athletic departments of SU and BC?

:bang:

Not at all. No need to really bring this up in a BC thread though, right?

Why not? why laugh at others misfortunes when the same could happen to us. Although i think we will do much better than 200 fans.

And they don't even have celebrity guest stars who show up to hang out. The REAL Fine Mess is becoming the Studio 54 of college tailgates. Anyone who's anyone has to be there. Pretty soon we'll have an Orange velvet rope and a waiting list to get in.

No, why do you ask?

Because if you're going to snarkily comment how being the ACC is a cure-all, which seems to be a slam at the things we discuss about SU here, perhaps it'd be good to be comparing athletics histories that are actually comparable.

It's the payboard of tailgates, really.

It's BC - there is no buzz other than the one Hail Mary pass. That's their entire history.

Speaking of the board tailgate I suggest we have it in Columbia, MO this year.

Tickets are up on Stub Hub for the Mizzou game. Alot of end zone seats between $71-99. I'm probably going to pick up a couple unless someone knows how I can get seats with the SU contingent.
