That Paul Harris/Eric Devendorf year will finally roll off next year from our 4 year average, but now I disappointed because some of our 4 year player most likely didn't graduate and that is something JB needs to work harder on getting accomplished. Brandon Triche, James Southerland, Scoop Jardine, Kris Joseph, Andy Rautins, Rick Jackson all should have graduated during this time period I wonder if any or if all of them actually did graduate.

4 yr average- 941.5
2 yr average- 951

An APR score of 930 over a four-year period, or a score of 940 over a two-year span is necessary to maintain NCAA tournament eligility. We are closer than I like.

Pretty sure that the Fabulous one had something to do with 2012's low number.

According to Donna's article I think you might be interpreting it wrong, but I'm tired right now so maybe I'm not thinking straight. According to her article, the 969 is the four year rate, not just the rate for 2012-2013

Pretty sure Devo/Harris are already off the four-year average. If I'm reading it right we had perfect scores in three of the four years: 09-10 (Wes, Andy, AO), 10-11 (Rick Jackson) and 12-13 (MCW, James and Brandon). 11-12 was the killer: Fab, Dion, Kris Jo and Scoop. I had been under the impression that only Fab left without finishing, but I don't think that would bring it down so low. Did Mookie count against it?

All in all, though, 3 out of 4 years with perfect scores ain't bad.

Yeah, that's how I read it too.

If you are right then I would be really happen. I thought each year was that year's APR, but if your correct and those numbers are the 4 year average then JB has done a great job going from the 930's to the 960's quickly.

I just saw they have a disclaimer in the dark gray section at the top when the scores come up "Please note that APRs represent a four-year rolling average and are subject to fluctuation as academic performance data from the most recent year are included. Specific questions about a team's APR should be directed to the member institution."

Did you read the article?

Maybe we should take a year off like UConn then come back and win it all

Ummm wrong. 2009-10 it was 1000.
2010-11 it was 1000

2011-12 it was low. Not sure number. Thx fab

2012-13 it was 1000

The 969 is 4 year average. Due to fab we lost some points. So do your homework before u bash r program

I think the track team should be worried.

SU earned perfect scores of 1000 for 3 of the last 4 years. In 2011-12 we have a low score because of idiot Fab who flunked out and left school. Don't know if Dion finished the year in good standing or not. The APR doesn't consider graduation rate...only if players were in good academic standing when they left.

Yeah its the 4 year average for sure; I haven't looked at this in a while since we've been ok, but its very confusing the way they do it

Are Ennis and Grant still going to class?

There have been a few mentions on syracuse.com articles that they have been on campus finishing classes and training. So I think we will be in good shape with those two.

I remember reading on this board, although I can't remember who posted it (cto?), that they were. At the very least, they attended the BasketBall. I can't imagine they would show up for that (or be allowed to show up) if they weren't still going to class.

I still maintain that it was impossible for Dion to finish the year. Most disagreed with me but I still stand by that opinion.
