I can understand the big game every now and then.  Those SHOULD happen.  But we don't need 2 extras every year.  Our home calendar doesn't have UCONN, Temple, USF, and Cinci on it any longer.  Those are being replaced by the FSUs, Clemsons, BCs, etc.

As to the other part, I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by the MetLife thing?  We needed the $ at the time and whored ourselves out for it.  I don't think it makes that much of a difference if we play ND at Alabrandi Stadium on CBA's campus.  I think we continue to set ourselves up for 6-6  season plus or minus a few due to our scheduling.  There is absolutely no need for it at this time.

I'm not trying to combative here, I have great memories of UF, Miami, Oklahoma, Michigan, OSU etc in the Dome.  But those schedules also had 1-AA surrogates RU and Temple on the calendar.  Outside of Miami and later Va Tech, the BE wasn't exactly murderers row.
