If we can't get the defensive board after a second miss, then it's almost automatic that the other team is going to score on their third try. I've seen this happen so many times, not just this season, but over the years and years of watching the zone.
 
I was watching the 2003 team against Michigan State on ESPN before the game last night, and it was the same thing we saw against G'town a couple hours later  - they got offensive rebound after offensive rebound and that kid Chris Hill hit TEN threes against the zone, and guess what, we still won. But it's that 2nd offensive rebound that almost always results in points by bucket or foul for the other team.
