The AAC and the BiG

Pray for Memphis to make a run to the finals and lose. They need to beat Tulsa and Houston. We want Temple to win that tourney. Not Uconn and not Cincy.

The BiG is even more important. Ohio State and Michigan who will both probably win today need to lose tomorrow. If they win 2 games and have a chance to win a semi-final game then we are in trouble.

Again more important to have these teams lose. This will ultimately decide our fate.

Root for Northwestern at noon.
Ohio State has to beat Michigan State tomorrow nothing today helps them at all.
I agree on the American.
Root for Temple, Cincinnati, Houston, Memphis in the QFs.

We learned this from bitter experience - You always want as many "would have gone anyway" teams to win the tournaments as possible.

Wouldn't it be better if Uconn won? It would give us another top 50 win, and it would knock the other aac bubble teams out, since someone has to win the tournament.

Syracuse has no chance of getting in. They've lost 5 of 6. People that think there's a chance are dreaming

While still unlikely, to say there's no chance Syracuse makes the tourney at this point shows you just have no idea what you're talking about. We're on the bubble. If you're a fan of the team, hope for the best.

The AAC is a confusing shitshow, but I think Temple winning the AAC is a poor scenario. To me the key to the AAC tounrey is that Temple loses the 1 vs 4/5 game.

One of Cincy/UConn will likely lock up a bid in their pseudo play in game. It would not make any sense for Temple to then beat them after they clinched a bid. We don't want the chaser of an at large bid to win against a team that has probably locked a bid.

In my view Cincinnati winning it all makes the most sense as they probably absorb a first round loss better than UConn.
