It is a nightmare each week. It is so predictable and innefficient. Hackett's playcalling is boring, yet he continues to be allowed to call the plays in.

I just can't believe that's how we choose to start games.

Our strategy is obviously to come out and try to establish the run, and it has obviously failed. I'll give Hackett credit for abandoning this strategy after 1 Qtr. last night; against UConn it took him an entire half of non-productivity.

Using this game plan last night was understandable, attempting to sustain long, time-consuming drives that kept Daniels et al., off the field (as we did so well against West Virginia). I don't understand trying to employ this approach against an offense as weak as UConn's.

We've become so predictable. Why not come out throwing the ball and sty to instill a more aggressive, attacking attitude on offense?

I've come to accept that it's because we don't have aggressive, attacking offensive coaches.

I think they believe that there's a way that football should be played, and that the true glory lies in slogging it out in between the trenches. They aren't interested in playing another way, no matter how far apart they are with the rest of college football.
