That's one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of tempo offenses.

But Dino does have the team headed in the right direction, and we are developing an offensive identity, which has value in and of itself. I think that it will get there. It will just talk a little time.

High tempo is feast or famine. We execute and pick up some first downs, we put them on their heels. We go 3 and out, we screw the defense. I'll take it. The trade off is worth it, especially as we get more pieces in place.

Against good (talented) teams, Dungey needs to stop throwing the ball to the other team in the first quarter and the defense can't give up 3 50+ yard td plays in a game.

I like the tempo but maybe if you go 3 and out in 30 seconds and they have a long drive than slowing it down the following series is a good idea . Tempo vs tempo this week
