Over 85 Man Run Off Waiver

Interesting article on the Run Off waiver where teams that rescind scholarships and run players off the team can transfer with immediate eligibility in non-one time exception sports like Football.

Of course in true NCAA fashion the university they are leaving needs to also provide sign off.

All Eyes on SEC and Michigan, for their suddenly shrinking annual rosters to 85. If you could get the previous institution to sign off you might be able to grab a couple guys for this year, But Good Luck!

Exactly it sounds great but seems like a Hollow rule.

South Carolina has 5 players transfering out, incl 1DL 1CB and 2WR, and LSU has Two WR transferring out, all four with game experience, (looks like numbers all around but like you said good luck)
