The catch that Hackett made on 3rd and long in the 4th was as good a catch as you can make. Welch threw it early and Hackett barely had a chance to even see it as he turned and he hung on and got smoked too..

Agree on that one. T-J's sideline catch - with a DB and safety draped all over him - was also pretty nice.

Hackett has become a really good player. He had nice numbers this season, especially for TDs. I wonder if he might end up all ACC? I have no idea how other TEs in the conference compare.

The 2011 group of Provo, Stevens, and Wales wasn't bad. Much more of a pass catching move TE group than inline blockers than Sinceno and Williams, those guys were big men.

Wales was Hackett's HS coach btw.

I would also say Welch made some good throws, some of them on the move too. He had his share of, "Where was that supposed to go," but I would say they were way outweighed by the good plays he made with his arm and feet.
