Half court basketball when you play man to man is all about finding the match ups that you can exploit.  That's job one, stopping the mismatches, either with doubles, switching, or whatever, depending on the circumstance.

Good half court offense, in my opinion, is all about movement without the ball, screens, back-cuts, high-low double post offense, with cutters or the weave up top.  I'm not a fan of so much ISO ball.  You don't always have the best talent.  That's what scheme and plays are for.

Red has shown little so far, but he has them for several days of practice before they fly out to Hawaii.  Let's hope he gets some new offensive concepts installed.  We will need them, given the level of competition.

Bigger question - will the players take that kind of self-less approach on board?  Or is this one big audition?
