I don't see why we need to have a successful nfl coach who used to coach here to be competetive. Even if Marrone won the SB it wouldn't materially help this program. Now players who make the NFL and succeed are critical to the program. I hope our staff is telling every d lineman on our board to watch the Colts and Pats and pay attention to the Jones brothers. As to your second point no one wants to see Marrone fail. Most just think he is a below average coach with poor people skills and a big ego and thin skin. I'm a Bills fan for life I was hoping he would get to the playoffs. But he gave us the most boring offense I have seen in a while and he showed the same limitations he did at Syracuse proving he doesn't learn from his mistakes. I was ok with him staying but he made his own bed, so goodbye. I never want his brand of boring football near a team I care about again. I think he deserves everything that happens to him professionally.
