[B]CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—[/B]The nationally-ranked Virginia men’s and women’s cross country teams host the annual Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational Friday morning (Sept. 23) at Panorama Farms in Earlysville.

The women’s 5,000-meter race is set to begin at 10 a.m., with the men’s 8K contest to follow at 10:30 a.m. Following the conclusion of the men’s race, the UVA women will be honored and receive their championship rings for winning the 2015 ACC title. The Hound Dog Hill Bluegrass Band will be performing throughout the meet, and Cavman and the Cavalier Spirit Squad will be in attendance tossing t-shirts to fans in attendance. Admission to the meet is free.
