Parking at Yankee Stadium or train?

First time attending a football game at new Yankee Stadium. Do folks recommend coming in from the CT suburbs via metro north (new haven line) or is parking OK enough? Know there will traffic.

Less concerned with train coming in - options going home are not as desirable, especially with a 6 year old in tow.

Normally I recommend mass transit , but with a 6 year old I think you should drive

Plan to get there early and assume there will be tons of traffic both before and after the game

I’m sure your 6 year old will immediately fall asleep when you back in your car after the game , and that’s what’s most important
