Parking for NCAA Tourney at the Dome

I have a colleague coming in from NJ for this weekend's games. Anyone have any ideas as to what the parking options are? He's staying downtown. Will the shuttle bus from Armory Square be running? Any help is appreciated.

Good question...if Armory Square merchants were on top of it...they would have a plan to have 20 buses lined up to make shuttle runs. The fans are simple creatures: Let me park my car, walk around outside holding a beer and mingle among lots of eating and drinking establishments...oh and like 30-60 mins to tip I need to walk to the Dome or give me a no hassle lift.

Has Syracuse figured out since the train shut down that it kinda sucks to get from Armory to the Dome?

Which hotel is he staying at. If he is at the Crowne Plaza or the couple near there he could take a quick cab or even walk. It's only like a mile. If he is near Armory Square he could also take a cab. Sometimes finding a cab after the game is tough but he walks down to Marshall St or to the Sheraton and has one or two cocktails by then he should be able to find one.

He could also drive to the dome. That would be my last option but there are some great lots just south of Marshall St.
