Hogwash? Maybe so, but one has to wonder. Arinze going down when we looked like a pretty good bet to bring home the trophy and now this! 20 -0 and whispers around the country about the Cuse running the table, Boeheim on the precipice of passing two of the all time greats for coaching wins! It all seemed so awesome! Only to get up on Saturday morning and as you log into Syracusefan.com you notice a post that's headed, "I heard some bad news". Bad news! Snikies! Bad news is that the line has moved down from 22 points to 12 points or that Kentucky has won their last few games or that Joe Pa isn't doing so well. This makes bad news sound like "I'm going to Disney World!" Why... Why... and who were those few who sold their souls? I want names, addresses, date of births! One can only hope that by some miracle Otto's plea to the powers that be will be successful in mediating the current disaster and we can move on to embrace our appointment with destiny and bring home the National Championship Trophy which we all know should have already resided in Central NY 3 times already and most certainly should be there come April 2012.
