Plus, Coyle and Syverud know full well how this game is played. Once you settle on a candidate you typically need to move quickly. They're certainly not going to have a process where they must wait for a BOT meeting that might be weeks away.

If we are going to invest in a $4-5 Mil contract, I would certainly hope so.
IMO it's more important to get it right that be at the head of the line.

I was just about to post that. I agree-I would rather wait a bit(if necessary)and get a top guy than rush to get the first guy we can get. This hire is more important than any recruit right now.

They don't necessarily have to meet in person. Technology is a wonderful thing. So I don't think we have to worry about timing of the face to face meeting.

My guess is the numbers/terms get discussed, interest is expressed or not and then the contract is drawn and put b/ the BOT later.
