I would hope the chancellor and Board of trustees feel the same way.

Also the value of Syracuse power four status in the future hinges on continued success.   Look at how people perceive Wake Forest now compared with five years ago.

We are also one of the few 30 or so programs that actually makes money on their athletic department to begin with, so even if you can’t justify it with ticket sales, you could just justify it with the fact that we have money other people don’t.   A school like Rutgers gets 20 million more on their TV contract but still loses 80- 100 million a year. So who has more money?
