To echo the first comment under the article, they have a lot in fines/settlements to pay.

Agreed it's totally ridic, but if any school shouldn't make fun of another for selling t-shirts based on nothingness, it's SU.

I see it as a little difference. If we beat Wagner or Pitt during the course of the regular season SU (the school itself) isn't making shirts afterwards celebrating the win and selling them on their official website. Third party business make SU shirts mostly with attendance numbers or funny sayings. But not commemorative shirts for wins like this in early September. I just see it as different
