Look at Indiana. Woodson has been to 2 NCAATs in 4 years, and is 13-5 this year. Yet the fans were chanting “Fire Woodson” during their loss to Illinois, and it seems to be accepted that barring a huge turnaround he’ll be gone after the year. If Red had that record we’d be calling for him to be extended, not fired.

I brought this up on Orange Nation, and its ok to fire him because he is in Year 4 and has much more NIL resources.

Your totally right, I have forgotten what 13-5 looks like.

They are us last year but in year 4.

They are beating the mid majors and dregs they are supposed to beat and getting boatraced by decent P5 and conference programs.

The blowouts against peer competition has him on the hotseat in year 4, as it should.

13-5 but none of their losses have been close despite a good NIL situation and their best win is over Penn State who as of now doesn't figure to make the tournament. Woodson plays an antiquated style that isn't suited to beating good teams. I don't blame IU fans one bit.

If you really want to see something wild, look at Kansas's 247Sports board. While it hasn't translated to in-game protest like IU fans with Woodson, there's a vocal minority that thinks the game has passed Bill Self by only because they've scuffled on offense against a few good teams, mainly on the road. There's even a thread comparing him to Boeheim. Note that they are currently projected to be a two-seed.

They’re in year 4. We’re in year 10 or 11.

Just different situations right now. We have an empty dome on our hands and it’s not because of Covid.
the general accountability level for the SU program has fallen so low

reading these boards as often as i do i am routinely surprised and in disagreement with the generally low level of expectations and standards for performance that seem to have become the norm for orange basketball

Seems like a pretty good attendance: "Syracuse University announced a crowd of 19,750 fans for Tuesday night’s ACC matchup with Louisville at the JMA Wireless Dome."
My guess while attending the game, about 6-8k people there.

I think this has become my new pet peeve lol. That’s just gaslighting material to release a falsely worded statistic. Maybe that’s total tix sold including season tix holders. They should have technology to grab a report of how many tix were scanned at the gates, total it up and publish that number. It’s reality, it’s a fact, people who were there know how sparse it was.

Yes it's tickets sold. They know how many tickets they scan in, they just don't share it.

Normal for season ticket holders to not show all the time, what's not normal is nobody buying said tickets on the secondary market instead.

This is a little interesting video from IU radio show and an interview with Evan Miyakawa. Mostly IU based but he talks about the general analytical work he does and some bits here and there.
