We are 3% better per play in yards than our opponents
We are 14% better per game

That means roughly 80% of our per game advantage comes from running more plays

We punt 23% less than our opponents but we are not going crazy on fourth downs.

Wait until we are gaining more per play than it opponents. This system amplifies average to really good.

chunk plays that dont lead to scores hurt us because we cant run inside the 20.

That 80% number is the problem w/ using per game stats.

Per drive is more indicative of actual performance than per play, but I expect the story to be the same.

IMHO, we’re good QB play (Healthy Fungey?), and a strong WR away from opening the offense up and dramatically increasing that per play number.

we have gotten good at pushing a RB into the endzone cause the holes havent been so good. this week we came up with the backside option to try and create some holes. nice to see them working some new stuff, and the nice TD to end the game sneaking the TE thru the hole.

I laughed at this - sorry. Essentially we're good QB and WR play away from having a really good offense. ;)

99th red zone passer rating not throwing for many tds (45th) there considering the number of attempts (7th)

Victories are won on a per game basis.

There are some valuable stats on other bases that allow you to understand the game better. But let's not lose sight of the bottom line, as often happens in baseball.
