Permission to start another 'Barkley is an a**hat' thread?

I hate Charles Barkley on these telecasts. He says at halftime that Louisville wants an "up and down" game but umm nooo they only score an average of 68 points a game, 155th in all of Division I and 49th out of the 68 teams in the field. The moderator guy gently tried to correct him but got shot down. And New Mexico, who he claimed wanted to slow things down more, averages 73 points a game for 52nd in the all of Division I and 33rd out of the 68 teams in the field. Geez. Do your research or have someone do it for you.

Sir Cumference and his NBA buddies are often ill prepared to discuss the college game and seemed also to not have bothered to do any homework in preparation for their on-camera time. CBS executives missed the boat here. Jay Bilas & Hubert Davis are the pros here and make Sir Cumference and his on-camera buddies the true rookies and they are constantly showing it.

While they don't deserve to be on these telecasts, the NBA guys aren't there for us. They're there to attract the casual fan. We would still watch if they had Bill Gates and Michael Dell doing the halftime show.

It's sad that two idiots that have no idea what the hell they are talking about and are constantly giving bad information would attract the casual fan's interest and attention. And that the casual fan has no background knowledge to be able to realize these clowns don't know their ass from their elbow when discussing the college game...so they are going to continue to hang around like a bad fart.
