It's an honor to be here. I got to thinking about the most important people on the Syracusefan.com board, then realized the list is long. I'm more football than basketball, mainly because you folks that spend the winter in Syracuse are nuts...so I focus on football season. So...I started with Dan Johnson...he may be gone but is still an important influence. Dan was the man. He set a standard that's important to me. Then I think about folks like Tomcat, Go, Rocco, DCCuse, JackBauer, Bees, Legacy, Xtreme, Crusty, CuseRegular, TexanMark, Consigliere, OrangePA, ReedNY, Retro44, BCubs, BamBrewer, KellySyracuse, and many others. For me, it's hard to differentiate because everyone I meet or chat with has something that inspires them about SU football. How am I to have anything but positive thoughts about folks that have some level of passion for SU football? You may be wrong, but I still like your passion. There are a lot of good analysts here and it's a pleasure to read your thoughts on many subjects. I like my take, thank you very much, but love to get your opinion as well. In the end, I think I find Tomcat the heart of this site...intellectual, informed, & inspired. Whenever I'm with him I feel guilty for sucking the intelligence out of him. TexanMark is the enabler. He's focused on pulling Syracuse fans together, no matter where they may be. I'd follow him anywhere. CuseRegular is the guy for me that symbolizes those of you that have played the game at a high level...I was a spectator. The people that make this site work, Bees, Legacy, Xtreme, CTO, et al, to you I say you've improved my life every day. I offer you sincere gratitude. I find those of you that are true philanthropists for SU sports to be gods, but think there are many of you. My contribution is a football season ticket. Some of you have contributed millions. Damn... In the end, I'm honored to be here.
