I can guarantee you most baseball fans would be surprised to find he was only 18% better than the average hitter. He doesn’t hold a candle to these guys. He was a versatile defender and played multiple positions, but he wasn’t great at any of them. He was a very good player for a very long time. By merits he should be in the Hall. Still overrated though .
