He was correct in that assessment.  That's why we have offered these guys.  
And two forwards who we were expecting to be here are not.

Some said we don't need more bodies (cough = Dasher).  Boeheim clearly disagrees.

We had too few guys last year, and several had to play hurt, due to over-reliance on the starters.

If we didn't add another forward (Braswell) and another big (hopefully Osunniyi, after we missed on the stretch four from Pitt), we would be shorthanded again.

Yes, Boeheim is famous for a short bench, but that doesn't usually start in October; he waits until conference season.  But not the last couple years.

He hasn't played enough guys.  As a result, guys quit, leaving us shorthanded.  And then guys get hurt from overuse.

He once famously said "A tired Derrick Coleman is better than anybody I have on the bench."

But do you like seeing Syracuse have to play players who are so obviously hurt?  I don't recall having seen that in my 47 years of being a fan.

We had guys who literally could not run up and down the floor out there. One transferred and the other 2 are returning at center, and we're hoping for them both to be healthy.  But how much did we hurt their recovery by playing them hurt all season?
