MJ has solid frame and runs well for a big. Hope Kiyan and his pop can help bring him to the Cuse!

Will have to see how he produces this summer because he barely played for Long Island Lutheran this past season. Granted they were loaded.

We should be able to do a lot better IMO. He has not really produced all that much for the City Rocks. Shoots 51% from the line too.

This kid is very raw. I don’t see it.

He is a 4 star player on 247 and ESPN. I too don’t see much that makes him deserve the ranking other than athleticism. At this point his skill level is not at a 4 star level, but there’s that dreaded word “potential.” I guess he wouldn’t be bad on the roster as long as both he and the team realize that he is a multi year player and there’s a lot of work to be done.

Madison’s name is on the radar of several programs in various conferences. Syracuse extended an offer back in early May. As things progress there, Madison mentioned another program in particular who is becoming more consistent.

“I’m working on setting up a visit with Syracuse with my coaches and whatnot. I still hear from the other schools that have offered me like Georgia, Penn State and Virginia Tech. UAB is a newer school that’s been contacting me a lot as well.”

Madison told MADE that he plans to set up his visits for the fall and then decide fairly quickly after taking those visits.

Yeah, the Orange staff has watched MJ at LuHi and on the AAU circuit with City Rocks. He told me a while back he would be visiting SU at some point

I candidly didn't think Syracuse was recruiting MJ these days. I'll ask around.

I get the frustration, but Syracuse never stopped recruiting Rippey, he just went in a different direction. And Syracuse has not stopped recruiting Smith, either. They are guards MJ is a PF.
