Second, your bizarre defense of Jackson overlooks that Red hasn't prioritized him for the point guard vacancy that the staff would like to fill in the class of 2025.  If they indicated to Jackson that they were ready to take his commitment today, he would commit today.  But they haven't -- because as good as he is, he is missing several key attributes needed for the position.  Just like Mike Edwards, Josh Wright, Jalen Carey, etc. lacked some of those same attributes, and all struggled here because of it.

Anthony is a much higher profile recruit, playing on an AAU team sponsored by his father.  Accordingly, the offense is often structured around him, and the ball is in his hands late in games.  So by default, Jackson plays the "other" backcourt spot.  That doesn't make him a P5 caliber point guard.
