Not trying to push Jackson, I m saying if the coaching staff decides that want him to commit, then they must have reasons to accept him (I.e., no other pg possibility, see potential to develop him, strong recommendation from trusted alumni….).

I’m just saying he has athletic skills, just maybe the staff could develop him. He is 6’2” and 153 lb.  Ths makes him seem more like 5’11”.

I understand that the staff would have to decide on that strategy with the new 15 scholarship policy and to expend the resources to develop him.  His speed and ability to quickly change gears reminds me a bit of Johnny Flynn (not saying he is the next Johnny Flynn).

Btw, the drop in the rankings should not be an issue.  If it was then there would be concern (which I don’t) about Sadiq White, Jr. who dropped out of the top 20 into the lower 50s.

Thanks for the counter opinion/discussion. Just saying if the coaching staff decides to sign Tyler, it’s their decision.  Trying to look at positives but understand this may just a moot discussion.
