What a difference Symir makes for this team. Everyone plays better. We aren't stagnant. Joe is so much better when he doesnt have the sole burden of bring the ball up.
Its such a shame Jesse and Symir got injured as we are a completely different team with them.

We really lost Symir to injury at the worst possible time. You gotta think they pull out the UNC and Miami games if he was able to play. There’s definitely no late game Miami meltdown. How frustrating. I was not all that bullish on Symir going into the season but he continues to impress me more and more as the season has gone on. I hope his growth continues. And it goes without saying how much Jesse’s loss has hurt this team down the stretch.

He should have been playing much more a long time ago

And I remember people trashing us even having Sy on the team. That he was only here cause he played with Buddy.

I liked Symir from the start. He is everything you want in a PG if he can just find a jumper he will really be something. Guy is very talented

it was obvious very early in the year that symir should be the starting pg. or at the very least getting alot more minutes than he was getting. i really believe we’d have 4 or 5 more wins right now. just an enormous blunder by jb this year. inexcusable really.

If they can fix his shot this off season, he will start next year. He doesn’t need to make threes, just foul line jumpers.

I mean Sy is fine, he's not good but he's not bad. He looks good in comparison vs the rest of the team because there really isn't another PG. There's a reason why we are trying to get a starting PG for next year.

I like Sy.

Jim loves Joe to a fault

Some of us liked Sy from jump. Some of us didn’t.

Pretty obvious how confident he was today. Ball on a string. Fun to watch. Shoulda went 3 guards all year but then buddy would have..well we know. Oh well

His fake behind the back pass spin pass was like “holy crap”. When Sy was playing the forward position in the zone today, he grabbed a rebound that Jimmy physically can’t. It’s been a problem all year on the defensive glass.

It’s not ideal, but the three guard lineup could have helped in certain games.

Raises hand. I was very skeptical of Symir when we brought him in and didn’t think much of his play in Nov and Dec. I was definitely missing what we should have had in Kadary. But since January and especially February I’ve been more and more impressed with Symir. He’s gotten much more comfortable with what JB wants him to do. He’s got a great handle and is the only Cuse guy who can really break a guy down off the dribble and get into the lane. And he’s gotten much more consistent at being able to find the open player off the bounce or attack and finish at the basket. He could be a real key piece next season.

To be fair, he was pretty terrible early in the season. Maybe it was his lack of minutes. But he has been playing much better the past month or so, like he's finally part of the team, more relaxed.
