Philadelphia's PPL Park to Host 2014, 2015 ACC Tournaments

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- PPL Park in Philadelphia, Pa., will be the site of the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Lacrosse Championship in 2014 and 2015, ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford announced today.


The 18,500-seat stadium serves as the home of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union and will be the host venue for the ACC on April 25-27, 2014 and again in the spring of 2015.

Interesting that the 2 teams that don't make the tournament will be playing each other as well.

That won't happen in 2015 unless the league adds another team.

Could be why they want a neutral site in 2015.

It would be awkward if the host school is the odd man out.
